Exemplar Neighbourhood

The Exemplar Neighbourhood will be a catalyst for the regeneration of Central Gateshead. This edge-of-centre location has the capacity for 1,000 new homes across 21 hectares of land. It will bring around 2,500 new residents to Gateshead's centre.

The site will have some distinct developments, covering a range of housing options. The area already has Housing Zone status, which helps provide access to funding. Both of these will contribute to speeding up the delivery of new homes.
